Having tea in the comfort of my own 4 walls is indescribable. The statisfaction of having tea, sitting infront of your desk and on your chair, while looking out at the calm blueish bangalore weather is <3.
I live in a service apartment which translates to me having a room on the first floor and a common kitchen on the 2nd floor. Frankly, the worst part of this lifestyle is, being a tea addict and running through hoops to have a nice cup of tea in my room.
Here are my options: 1. Swishh, or etc app, to get a okish tea in 10 minutes which goes cold way too fast. 2. Go outside to have tea, uughh. 3. Buy milk, etc, etc, to make tea on the 2nd floor. I have to clean a mug, a pot, a spoon. Sometimes twice! Before and Afterwards.
All the 3 options are inconvenient. Also, my soul dies a little everytime I've to pay for a mediocre tea. It's the anticipation and then the falloff from the expectation and all that.
Tea time for a non-believer like me is comparable to sitting in a temple experiencing god and enjoying the calmness that comes with it. You want this wholesomeness to last at least 15 minutes!
So, I bought a kettle to make tea in my room. And, it has been a blessing, to keep the analogy going, it's like having a temple in my room where I spent significant time everyday worshipping. Turns out making tea is also equally significat to enhance the whole tea experience.
So yeah, here's the review. Buy the multipurpose kettle if you want to make tea. It also has a steamer that I use to make steam sweetpotato and sunny side eggs.
My open sandwich game is getting too delicious! Highly recommended for a bachelor living in pgs or hostels without a kitchen.
Cookwell multipurpose kettle is avaiable for 1200, but another other kettle is also find. Get a kettle that is detachable from the base as it's easier to clean. Mine isn't so you should probably go with the Agora brand that is for 1600Rs
